- The Monofilament Top ( Mono Top) shows a natural scalp color and allows multi-directional hair styling. It is created by carefully hand knotting hair "grafts" containing one or two strands of hair to an ulta-fine monofilament mesh. The hand knotting allows the hair to flow more naturally.
